Helping grow the relationships that grow books of business.
Assess - Collaborate - Execute
Accountability
Assess
-
How does each attorney in your firm feel about business development?
-
What priority is placed on broadening existing relationships and generating new ones?
-
What resources do your attorneys know are at their disposal?
-
What incentive is there to refer business to colleagues?
-
How does each attorney describe themselves to potential clients?
Collaborate
-
Work together to determine each attorney's value proposition.
-
In what form does that differentiating skill present best?
-
Does the attorney know about all the intangible resources available?
-
What does each attorney feel would help them drive business... and why are/aren't they doing it?
-
How can practice groups collaborate closer to increase the whole?
Execute
-
Assist in connecting the attorney to the client in the time and place with the greatest chance of success.
-
Keep constant contact with each attorney to determine the best plan to engage the potential client.
-
Get in front of your client in a way that authentically connects you to them.
-
Keep constant feedback in a transparent way that keeps each persons' "Why" as the motivator.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The ACE (Assess - Collaborate - Execute) model is based on a foundation of Accountability.
With clear expectations and measurable metrics everyone will know what success looks like.
Ongoing accountability keeps everyone connected, motivated and growing.
Successful Execution
The Most Important Metric Is Growth
Action Steps:
- Assess how each attorney communicates their value proposition
- Detail the firm's resources and connections and how they can be leveraged
- Collaborate on a simple, straightforward "Execution Plan"
- Continually keep everyone accountable for results
